Jaelynn will provide tools to help grow your students' capacity to meditate and deepen their connection to meditation. In this webinar, she will discuss developmentally appropriate approaches to meditation instruction, ways to evaluate the progress of your students, and strategies to utilize the meditation exercises found in our Soul Matters RE packets. There will be time during the webinar for Q&A with Rev. Jaelynn. Participants also receive a recording of the webinar for future reference. This webinar will be useful to a wide audience, including DRE’s, RE teachers and parents.

Small Group Facilitator Training - September 26, 7pm ET
An in-depth webinar training for small group facilitators and program leaders. Covers the Soul Matters facilitation model, tips for handling facilitation challenges, strategies for program growth, and best practices for new facilitator recruitment and support. For congregations that have existing facilitator training programs as well as congregations that don’t. If your congregation has an existing training, send your trainers as a way of preparing them to lead your own training. We are also glad to work with congregations to set up a personalized training for their facilitators. We hold these trainings quarterly, so if you can't make those currently offered keep you eye out here for future ones.
Online Facilitator Small Group Meetings - September 2018 to January 2019
Our monthly, two-hour on-line small groups for facilitators are a unique and intensive facilitator training experience. For five months, facilitators meet once-a-month with our team lead and founder of Soul Matters, Rev. Scott Tayler. Each monthly meeting is run as a small group and follows the packet for the upcoming month. Facilitators get a “dry run” of the session they will be leading the following month. Along the way, Rev. Tayler pauses to point out tips and group process. In addition to learning technique, facilitators are nourished by the personal sharing of fellow facilitators from around the country.
After each 2 hour session, facilitators can stay on the call for an optional and more personalized troubleshooting and tips session with Rev. Tayler. This is a chance for facilitators to receive monthly support for the particular challenges they are wrestling with in their groups back in their home congregations.
