Soul Matters Online Small Groups

Designed for self-discovery and spiritual deepening, our five-session, once-a-month Soul Matters groups are ideal for those who don’t have small groups in their congregations, those who want to connect with UUs from other parts of the country, and church leaders who want to have an experience of Soul Matters to see if it might be right for your congregation.
This monthly-meeting Soul Matters group is a chance for UUs from around the country to come together to explore our monthly themes and engage spiritual discernment through reflection, exercises and sharing. Each month, participants get a Soul Matters spiritual discernment packet that contains spiritual exercises, introspective questions and numerous evocative voices on the monthly theme. They work with this packet on their own prior to group meetings and then, at the monthly meetings, they engage each other's sharing using our Soul Matters deep listening practices to create an environment of trust, connection, and self-exploration. Nancy (she/her) is a member at the First Brewster UU Church on Cape Cod and a teacher of Spiritual Companionship at the Spiritual Life Center in Hartford, CT. Nancy has been a Spiritual Companion and teacher for many years and has extensive training using the Enneagram and Bio-Spiritual Focusing as tools for spiritual companioning and personal growth. |
