More and more congregations are using and exploring one-room schoolhouse RE models. To support this effort, we've created packets specifically designed for it. Our aim is to save you time and ensure you have stories, games and hands-on activities that work well with groups that span both lower and upper elementary ages.

  • Subscriptions come with 10 packets, one for each month of the 2025-26 church year.
  • Each monthly packet includes 4-5 weekly sessions​ and follow our 2025-26 monthly themes.
  • Packets are chocked full (over 25 pages) of stories, experience-based learning activities, embodied chalice lights & extinguishing, games, crafts, hand-ons activities, videos, and more. 
  • ​Based on subscriber feedback, these packets focus on stories and experiential learning through games and hands-on activities. Not only do we research for the most engaging stories, games and activities, we offer numerous options of each in every packet.
  • Knowing that RE programs differ greatly, we use a "building block" curriculum approach, rather than what might be called a “recipe approach.” So, instead of offering rigid step-by-step lesson plans, we provide numerous and flexible components (i.e. building blocks) that enable you to pick the components and parts to build the program experience that best fits you church culture and kids.
  • Our Director of RE Resources, April Rosario, works with other teammates and strategically-recruited colleagues to ensure that our packets include ARAOMC ("Anti-Racist, Anti-Oppression,Multi-Cultural") and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) resources and lenses throughout our sessions.
