Why Design Worship Alone? 
Small church worship comes with unique challenges, especially for congregations and fellowships without a minister on staff. Ministers acquire a large set of skills and resources. They also are connected to numerous circles of collegial support. Our Small Church Worship Cohort is designed to give lay worship teams and leaders  similar support and brainstorming partners.

Details
  • Ten online, monthly, hour-long brainstorming and coaching calls, August - May. 
  • Meeting occur on the 2nd Thursday of each month. We will pick the exact time in conversation with group members.
  • Facilitated by our Team Lead, Rev. Scott Tayler, these monthly meetings allow participants to plan together about how to weave the upcoming month's theme into worship. It's a brainstorming group, in which members share resources, lift up challenges and offers ideas. 
  • In addition to facilitating, Rev. Tayler spends about 20-30 minutes offering tips, liturgical resources, design strategy, theme ideas and sermon seeds of his own. 

Limited Membership
This is a pilot year, so we are limiting participation. Up to ten worship committees/teams can participate. Teams can send up to 2 people per meeting and those people can change meeting to meeting. The goal is to keep the meeting to a manageable number of participants.
